Last night I tossed aside my mary jane flats & holy jeans in exchange for snake skin heels & leather pants. Date night with Papa! Heck ya! We left the kid friendly confines of Park Slope for a cool warehousey space on the cusp of Williamsburg & Bushwick in Brooklyn to attend a powerful dance performance from The Pulse Project She Is, created by Brooke Notary founder & artistic director of the Pulse Project.
We're on a date! Cocktails & a show.
The show's energy combined both strength & stamina that left audience in awe of this new type of dance movement. The Industrial Movement, a combination of contemporary dance, aerial theater, parkour, acrobatics & pole dancing. Take a glimpse….As we sat mesmerized and entertained while sipping our cocktails the dancers never stopped moving, effortlessly climbing poles and gracefully swirling down. The strength of each dancer was impressive & evident throughout.

Tonight is the shows last night (only two nights) and tickets are $40 (you can also buy them at the door) and the location is a secret (you find out once tickets are purchased). It was a good night and definitely worth a night out! To learn of future shows "like" The Pulse Project on FB. What are some of your most memorable night outs?
Happy Friday!
PS: Shout out to our girl Dee Dee Gomes for her costume design from last nights show! Get it gurl!
