Favorite Things: I'm super excited to introduce you to Freshly Picked, a baby moccasin company started by Susan Petersen in her Utah home in 2009. Freshly Picked was inspired after Petersen found a lack of stylish baby shoes for her little ones.

- She pay's it forward-Every Tuesday Petersen hosts an "Entrepreneur Empowerment Movement" (#eemovement) on Freshly Picked's Instagram where she discusses entrepreneurism with other entrepreneurs. I found this particular Instagram post quite inspiring from Petersen "I had to OWN what it was that I was doing and not only that, OWN, what you want to do. So instead of saying, 'I just make these little moccasins and sell them and I'm just a mom.' I started saying, 'I'm a mother and I'm the CEO of Freshly Picked. We are an e-commerce company and we make and sell the cutest baby moccasins.' And I just started adding "I was just on Shark Tank' to my bio. You are not "just" anything. You are doing great things and you will do great things. Own it, make it the narrative of your life and become it!'
