To Go Home Again

This past weekend was our first weekend home (NJ) in months.  We hadn't been able to pay a visit since the crash in the Crash, Bang, Boom post.  Now that our car has been repaired & everyone (grandparents, friends, cousins) were still geared (presents on hand) to celebrate Bebe Birds 3rd birthday we headed south & got ready for Bebe Birds family birthday party….2 months later. Yup! Now, this is cool, ironically, my mom just bought a house right down the road from Papa's grandparents where his parents are currently staying…(it's total serendipitous-but more on that later).  The convenience of this close proximity has made our time in NJ so enjoyable.  And this past weekend turned out to be one of recharge for us & Bebe Bird who is best pals with his Pop.

Before we had Bebe Bird we traveled often.  We wouldn't really refer to a vacation as a vacation unless we left the country.  Since having him we travel home (to California & NJ) to be with family & to be with friends.  Those places have come to bring with it a sense of value, of peace & of joy.  They have come to be the blessings you are reminded to count right there in front of you.  Exhale!
