Lady Bird (LB): One of my favorites is Corduroy, by Don Freeman (1968).
BB: Why is Corduroy one of your favorite books?
LB: This book used to be my Papas and it is about finding a true friend.
BB: What is your favorite part in Corduroy?
LB: I like when Lisa gets to bring Corduroy home-they are both so happy!
BB: Who do you like to read Corduroy with?
LB: I like to read this book with my Papa because I know it was one of his favorites too.
BB: Would you recommend this book to other Bebe Birds?
LB: Yes, because it reminds you to look past appearances and listen to your heart.
