Puppets and Parties

On Sunday friends & family gathered to celebrate Bebe Bird & Z's 3rd birthdays at Puppetworks in Park Slope Brooklyn-the family friendliest mecca of the world.  Puppetworks, a not for profit puppet theater, has been a staple in Park Slope for over 30 years and showcases kid friendly puppet shows using hand puppets or beautiful marionettes.

Children sat captivated as lights went down and Goldilocks and the 3 Bears took center stage.  This was truly a great introduction to the wonderful world of theater and arts for these little New Yorkers. And a fantastic venue to host a children's birthday party. Able to hold 70 people, the party itself was only 2 hours.  1 hour of show & 1 hour for dinner & cupcakes.  If you live in or are traveling to New York with a toddler and looking for some kid friendly theater experience make the trek over to Park Slope.  Puppetworks puppet shows run Monday-Friday for schools & opens to the public on Saturday & Sunday with two shows each day. Tickets run $8 for children $9 for adults.
